Electrolychee is Marcushiro+Bru. Hatched last September 2005, Electrolychee is a Manila based studio that merges illustration with design. Previous to that, Marcushiro and Bru spent five years doing commercial design for other people, and their various works could be seen in books for children and adults, magazines, web publications, album covers, murals and clothing brands. Both Bru and Marcushiro have earned respect from their peers and a name in the industry, so it was a very easy decision to get together and form Electrolychee. Their works play within the realms of slick, computer-generated vector art and organic, hand-drawn imagery.

The high-voltage lychees are also full-time visual artists who frequently showcase their pop-inspired artworks in the metros alternative galleries. Besides painting, participating in design conferences and collaborating with both local and foreign artists, the design studio also produces a do-it-yourself endeavor Electrolychee-branded merchandise.

Philippe Stucki was born 1985 in Switzerland and has always been passionate about drawing. He studied graphic design in Lucerne, and during his studies, he had an internship in Amsterdam. Phil is now interning and getting inspired in Manila.

Zeus Bascon is a graduate of business administration from UST. He illustrates for children's books and magazines here and abroad. Zeus also joined several group exhibitions where he displayed works that explore the process of determining one's current being. He is 22 years old and currently resides in Sta. Rosa. Laguna.

Dex fernandez’s work illustrates the polarities of good and evil, beauty and ugliness. He subscribes to the belief that if several sets of ideas collide then a brand new set of stories will come about. By reinventing the original orientation into humorous and sarcastic reinterpretation of the story that was once innocent, allows the provocation to attack and destroy. In a way it’s also concerned with the duality of a thing or person showing the ugly truth and beauty.

Dex obtained his bachelor of Fine Art, majoring in advertising from Technological University of the Philippines in 2005. He is a graphic designer, illustrator and painter who works a lot with vintage posters and tattoo references incorporating these into his larger than life sculptures, and t-shirts.

Wee Will Doodle is a group of artists deeply in love with the power of the doodle. This artist collective believes in, respects, and plans to harness the raw power of our sponteneous ideas and capture them in different mediums—on paper, on plastic, on walls, on your bare ass--you name it and they’ll draw on it. Give them a blank room and they’ll charge in with multi-colored markers blazing! They draw now and ask questions later.
